International Ivy News airing live from Chatham!!
Week 6
Extra extra, read all about it...or watch instead! This week in Video Journalism, our campers have been learning all about the process of creating compelling news stories in video format, from which wording to use, to newsworthy stories to report on. This week, the students interviewed our very own site director, Nicole and head counselor, Charlotte along with other teachers. They are putting together a full broadcast airing later today from the You Tube Channel. Here is a snippet of one camper doing the Weather Report.
Life Gave Us Lemons...and Limes!
In Burlington, campers transformed into extraordinary entrepreneurs by building lemonade stands from the ground up! They explored all aspects of starting a business from developing a yummy product to honing their customer service skills. The true test of their success will be when they present their businesses at camp later today. In the meantime, check out this video for a sneak peek into the silly fun had while "getting down to business."
Scotch Plains Week 6 - Raspberry Pi
This week in Scotch Plains some of the campers got the privilege of learning techniques and coding in Raspberry Pi under the great instruction of Craig. The campers really took on a variety of tasks and were able to accomplish tasks relating to sounds and lights!
