Short Hills Pirate Day!

Arrrrrrr counselors here at Short Hills really got into the pirate spirit!

Fantastically Plastic-y!

Whether it's with a 3D Printer or from scratch, Paramus campers are learning and having fun creating with plastic!

Our 3D Printers have cranked out model towers, keychains, and even a personalized Xbox controller cover!  The students have enjoyed learning 3D designing principles using TinkerCad, an online design platform. The better a design can be built through layering, the more efficient the printer can create it.

In Chemical Engineering, the students used simple ingredients to make their own plastic from scratch! Just let these two campers explain the process to you ....

We're looking forward to Friday when all campers will show off what they've done in our Friday Showcase! Check out all the videos, pictures, and more at iisummer.com/media!

Summing Up Summit- Part 2

As our week in Summit is coming to a close we wanted to keep everyone updated on all the exciting things going on. Our campers in App Design Using App Inventor have all created their own unique apps which came out really well! Click the link below to see one of our wonderful students apps.

Mismatch Day in Chatham

Things got a little silly today in Chatham. Our students showed up to camp in mismatched clothes, wearing different socks, shoes and patterns as a part of our Thursday theme day. Some of these campers got to show off their zany outfits for the camera. Theme days are always fun in Chatham!

Diners, Drive-ins and International Ivy

Chatham Week 5

Today the campers of International Ivy took a trip to Flavortown in the culinary arts and cooking class. This week they have made cookies, cupcakes, pizza, pasta, tacos, quesadillas and brownies, and each dish has been better than the last. Some have said our camper's meals taste like "angels singing".  We're even thinking of opening up our own restaurant here in Chatham which is sure to be off the hook, brother.

Campers cooking up some fun.

The pizza is looking good!
