Paramus Week 1
The children have really enjoyed their first week at International Ivy! From day one, we are all having a blast. Minecrafters are happy and excited about what lies ahead the following day.
Wet day was a great success and who does not like the dunk tank. On our down time we have had lots of fun with pictionary and hut, hut , hike. E and D said that what they love about robotics is "building and programming it is awesome"

Wet Day at Scotch Plains Week 2!
Wet Day at Scotch Plains was... well... just that! Jackie and Julia got SOAKED by their campers who eagerly sprayed them with water guns, threw water balloons at them, and even soaked them under the dunk tank! It was a blast.

Week 2 @ Somerset 2015
We here at Somerset just got started this week! So far we have been having a blast getting to know our new friends, counselors, and teachers. This week in our Movie-Making classes props are being brought in and stars are being born! In robotics the races are on! Watch your step because animals and vehicles can be seem roaming the hallways. At break time we really love Pictionary! Who knew so many artists were here at International Ivy. We are all looking forward to the rest of the week.

Week 2 at Chatham!
We have been off to a great start for week 2 in Chatham! Today, we played our weekly Minute to Win It: Hut, Hut, Hike. The kids had an awesome time playing in the gym, enjoying each others company.
We split the kids up into two teams and had one member from each team shoot toilet paper rolls into the hula hoop the same way the ball is passed to a quarterback in football. When a player got all three in the hoop in under a minute, their team received a point. The members on the team with the most points at the end of the game each got an Ivy Card!
Everyone had a great time playing and we hope to continue having a great week! This week we have a large variety of classes including: Minecraft, Robotics, Photoshop, Construction, Investment, Youngster, Web Design, Newspaper, and Creative Writing!

Caldwell Week 2: Animation Movie-Making
"Animation is very fun and I enjoy it a lot. Joe is teaching us a lot about animation, and the class is very interesting. We are learning so much about animation and stop-motion. I can now make awesome movies on my own"

He taught us to use an app called Incrediflix where you can create stop-motion and animation movies. We are doing 5 frames per second which means if you took 5 pictures that be one second in the movie. I have learned so much and am excited to see the finished product. I know that my friends and family will enjoy the movie, all because of Joe's help!"

Week 2 at Scotch Plains!
It may be Monday, but friendships and projects are already forming! This week, campers are enjoying video game creation, graphic design and photoshop, minecraft math, and website design classes. During breaks they enjoyed working in teams while playing charades and pictionary in order to earn ivy points for a prize later in the week. Check out the pictures below!

Farewell Friday at Scotch Plains Week 1 :(
We are having a blast here at Scotch Plains and can't believe the first week of camp is already coming to an end! Our counselors and campers had fun playing water games on Wet Day and even wore silly hats yesterday for an Ivy point. Check out the pictures from this week!
We also had our first talent show during break today! Many campers participated for an Ivy point and showed off their amazing talents. We had gymnasts, magicians, singers, and even illustrators. Thanks for sharing your talents with us!
The first week of camp at Scotch Plains has been memorable and exciting to say the least. See you all next week!
Today was full of excitement in all of our classes. In the morning, Shark Tank Jr. presented their Final Sales Pitch to parents and counselors. It was a full house! The products were innovative and the presentations were informative. Great work, future entrepreneurs! Then, campers in our Video Game creation classes tried out each others games. What a challenge for everyone... counselors and teachers included! The creativity at Scotch Plains this week was astounding and we can't wait for even more to come!
