Prepping for Surgery @ Far Hills

Can't afford Med School?  Come to International Ivy at Far Hills instead.  This week our pre-med students are learning the basics.  They started by learning about the brain and the function of its' lobes.  The students had to opportunity to dissect a real brain to examine it.  Don't worry, even though they looked delicious no one ate a brain.

The next day, our future doctors learned about blood typing.  In a simulation they saved people's lives by giving them the correct type of blood during surgery.  They even had the opportunity to make their own fake blood using materials from your kitchen.  It was so convincing that Dracula would have fallen for it.

Later in the day, the pre-med students learned proper stitching techniques and were able to help a poor banana that was having a bad day.

I know I feel safer knowing in the room next to the office we have 3 great doctors in training.  Check out our flickr page here and our youtube page here on Friday afternoon to see all of our pictures of our future surgeons.
