We have been off to a great start for week 2 in Chatham! Today, we played our weekly Minute to Win It: Hut, Hut, Hike. The kids had an awesome time playing in the gym, enjoying each others company.
We split the kids up into two teams and had one member from each team shoot toilet paper rolls into the hula hoop the same way the ball is passed to a quarterback in football. When a player got all three in the hoop in under a minute, their team received a point. The members on the team with the most points at the end of the game each got an Ivy Card!
Everyone had a great time playing and we hope to continue having a great week! This week we have a large variety of classes including: Minecraft, Robotics, Photoshop, Construction, Investment, Youngster, Web Design, Newspaper, and Creative Writing!

"Animation is super fun! Joe has taught us really great tricks to make movies look cool and interesting. He taught us to use an app called Incrediflix where you can create stop-motion and animation movies. We are doing 5 frames per second which means if you took 5 pictures that be one second in the movie. I have learned so much and am excited to see the finished product. I know that my friends and family will enjoy the movie, all because of Joe's help!"
