Edison Web Designers Finish up a Great Week

"This was the BEST WEEK OF CAMP EVER! First of all, I got to create the awesomest website that's all about tennis and is really really really awesome! I hope that a lot of people check it out and like it!
I also had fun during the break times. We got to play things like dodge ball and trivia quizzes and soccer tournaments! We also got green t-shirts that said International Ivy Enrichment Program on it and wore them on Friday and got to wear our pajamas on Thursday. I had tons of fun and learned a ton of things at the same time! I can't wait till i come back here again!
P.S. I had the best teacher ever! Her name is Nicole and she plays music while you work and is really nice!"

"Going to Website Design at International Ivy Summer Enrichment Programs was a very valuable experience. I now have and operate my own website, called Robert Brandl's Burgers and Brats, containing German and American grilling recipes. Throughout the week I added my recipes, photos, links and more incredible features. We also worked on HTML coding. I was so excited about this that I created a different HTML site. My site is now finished and I am excited to show it to my parents. I would like to thank our teacher for the week, Nicole, and also Sherry, who helped a lot with different widgets and plugins."

Far Hills Camper's First Story!

Eesha took the Imagination Authors class this week and let us share her story with you guys! The original is a very colorful story, but our scanner was acting up. So please excuse the lack of color. And without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, I am happy to present Trouble At Tinie Village!
Our awesome author!

Robotics Class at Far Hills ROCKS OUT

We made a guitar in robotics class today! Watch Pranay play a few riffs on his robot.

Rock on, Pranay!

Pajama Day at Chatham!

Although the campers wore their pajamas to camp yesterday, they still were awake and had enough energy to play soccer at break time! Below are some pictures of the campers in their cozy pajamas!

Honest Words about Classes at Caldwell: #Week3

"This week I am taking C++.  It is a programming class.  Coding seems very complicated, but it gets easier when you begin to understand the programming and formatting.  This class is fun and helpful.  I learned a lot this week."  -A.V.
"I am taking the C++ Programming class this week.  So far the class is very interesting.  We have learned how to format, what each function means and its purpose, and how to make programs.  We made a program that converts degrees Celcius to Farenheit to Kelvin interchangeably.  We also made a program that converts letters to numbers and back.  If I could I would definitely take an advanced class for this subject next year.  Overall, I enjoyed this class very much."  -R.K.
"Over the week I have learned how to make games in GameSalad.  My favorite part was making my own game after we made an asteroid game.  I made Pacman 2000.  I learned how complicated even the simplest games truly are.  I learned about taking the scenes, actors, commands, and the stage and making a game out of it.  I learned so much!  I hope to come back next week!"  -E.O.
"I am making my own game called Super Star Smasher using the program Game Salad. I can control Kirby by having him collect stars. I also have to dodge enemies called Waddle Dees. After collecting a certain amount of stars I must defeat King DeDeDe who moves up and down and throws hammers at you. If I shoot him with my Star Blaster 10 times, I win! Overall I really enjoyed the class." -A.S.
"In Mobile App Design, we learned how to work a program called Game Salad. It was a tough process just creating one game. We created a game called Asteroids saved our several times. Everyone's game had glitches but the teacher helped us work on fixing them. Mobile App Design was complicated but also fun and rewarding." -A.G.
