They either have to be all different, all the same, or some different. But you can't have two similar ones and one different. In conclusion, people of all ages; old or young, smart or not, can all come to Brain training to improve their knowledge and brain skills." -A.B.

Short Hills Week 3- Youngsters enjoy creative arts

There’s more to arts and crafts than just making cute pictures to hang on the refrigerator. Each time your child creates something, he or she actually sharpens important skills that they'll be able to use for the rest of their lives.
Here are some life skills being developed in our youngster program when the kids participate in arts and crafts.

  1. Arts and crafts help develop fine motor skills.
  2. Arts and crafts build positive self image, self esteem, confidence, and imagination.
  3. Arts and crafts provides a positive release.
  4. Doing arts and crafts encourage self-expression.
  5. Arts and crafts is also good for relationship building.

Some creative projects can also breathe new life into old, discarded objects.

Making artistic choices helps learners understand more about themselves and their personality.

"The International Ivy Camp is one of the best camps I have ever been to. It has a lot of interesting, fun activities and classes that I would recommend for every kid my age in New Jersey. I had a blast on Halloween in July, Pajama day, wet day, and spirit day. I learned how to do makeup, animation, and even acting. There are only two words. Ivy. Awesome." -J.E.

"This camp is really cool and fun. On break time we get to go outside and have fun. We had Halloween with candy, then wet day! Even though I didn't get wet, it was fun watching everybody else get wet." S.S.
