Oakland's Week 2 Independence Boogaloo

It may be a shorter week in Oakland, but rest assured, we're making the most of it. This week, campers have been trading stocks, designing video games, and cooking up some nifty treats. Oakland's been having a great week so far, and it's a real shame that the weeks end tomorrow.

Java Level 2: Minecraft Mods has taken Java knowledge and applied it to Minecraft. They are starting to make their own equipment based on their own designs. They've been building their own modifications to the worlds of the game, and are having a blast while doing it.

3D Video Game Design students are hard at work developing their own video games and playing each others games. Parkour maps are commonplace among the student's designs, but the tricky jumps are rewarding once you've finished them.

All of the Break Games this week have been fantastic, but ask any Oakland camper what their favorite one was and you'll hear the same answer. "Bouncy Velcro Wall."

He was having a lot of fun just "hanging out."

This has been a fantastic week in Oakland, and thankfully, we've got many more to come!
